Christine E. McPhee
Christine E. “Christy” McPhee practices in the areas of family law and real estate.
Before joining Luscutoff, Lendormy & Associates, Ms. McPhee focused the majority of her practice on family law matters, including financial and real property disputes. Most recently she was an associate with a boutique Marin County family-law-only firm where she handled all aspects of divorce, including support issues (both spousal support and child support), child custody cases and division of property issues.
Ms. McPhee’s training in family law is national in scope and it began well before her work in the Bay Area’s family law courts. During law school, from 2003 to 2005, Christine served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Herbert Barall in the Connecticut Family Court, interned in the family law division of Greater Hartford Legal Aid, and worked for a small Hartford Connecticut firm specializing in family law.
Christine McPhee received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of California at Davis; and later, in 2006, was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, one of the leading public law schools in the country. She is a member of both the Oregon Bar and the California Bar.
Ms. McPhee turned to law after a career at AMB Property Corporation, [NYSE:AMB] a San Francisco real estate investment trust (REIT), as a contracts analyst where she and the company’s asset management group were responsible for a national portfolio of commercial properties. She also worked as a leasing analyst in the law department of The Men’s Wearhouse [NYSE:MW] an international retail corporation. For a brief time Christine lived in London, England working for Conundrum Consulting, where she supported human resource projects primarily relating to executive search.
Christy McPhee is interested in finding solutions to family law issues, even when circumstances seem impossibly difficult. For Christy, the practice of family law is not just a ‘day job’. During the past several years she has actively served as a volunteer with the San Francisco Bar’s Volunteer Legal Services Program (VLSP) where she assists low income clients with family law matters.
In January 2011 Christine was awarded the San Francisco Bar Association’s “2010 Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award”.
